What happens when I arrive at camp for registration?

Camp sessions begin with registration at 3:00 (Unless noted otherwise). When you arrive at camp directions will be provided concerning where to park and how to proceed through the registration process. At this time campers and parents meet the Director, receive cabin assignments, check in with the Camp Health Director, turn in store and picture money, and meet their counselor. Camp staff transport luggage to camper sleeping quarters. We generally have everyone through this process by 4:00 so if you will be late, please call.
What does my camper need to bring? Small suitcases, backpacks and duffel bags work best. Plastic trash bags rip easily and are hard to identify during check out. Make sure all personal belongings are well labeled. Be sure to include extra socks and shoes. Remember that temperatures at camp can be slightly cooler than at home. Campers bringing personal equipment (i.e. cameras, musical instruments, etc.) are responsible for their care and safekeeping. Expensive jewelry or watches should be left at homeRadios, tape/CD/MP3 players, cell phones, and electronic games are not appropriate for camp. If they are brought to camp, they will be held and returned to the camper at the end of the session. Remember to LABEL your items!
